I have...although it has certainly been a day of test and tension.

Out where I live, there's a nightmare of fires, far on the sides of the States surrounding us; we seem to be a part of the gathering points for the smoke from each of these wildfire plagued places. It's getting thick, out here; I don't want to know what the people directly affected by these flames are going through, although I can more than sympathize with them.
Just... getting through the day means I've survived a personal test, the stronger the smoke becomes, as my first impulse is to hunt down the source, and throw myself into the work of helping to put an end to the nightmare.
Problem is... at the closest, the fires are four hundred miles away from where I'm living, so I haven't the capacity to make it to that source to throw in with the help efforts.
Still, despite this, it has been a good day; no tragedies directly in the town where I live.
How about y'all? |

Oh, aye; it was a hot day, today, and one where, though we'd had a light breeze, it was hot and barely moving. The smoke's grown thicker than ever, although the fires remain far away--my heart to you, Panthe3Black, by the way, I'm hoping those fires are brought under control soon--and each time a door is opened, the smoke has begun to roll through the open doors. Settling on surfaces, and saturating skin and clothes, it is becoming a nightmare for even those of us who aren't directly in its grasp.
For those of us who have been through it in the past, the flashbacks are proving hellacious. |

Isn't that the way of things, though? Those who cause the most waves eventually become the focuses of targeted aggression? If they could find the usefulness in such a tool as the wormhole blog, they might not have been swept under the asteroid with the rest of the splinters, no?
Well, it has been quite the day for me, as early in my hours, I came across a useful blueprint to add to my repertoire, and that nifty item is on its... fifth run, now? Or sixth; half a moment.... Gah, forgive me; fourth run, now. Bleh; times are growing confusing between the three I presently have going. I managed to lose an Executioner early on in the acquisition of this blueprint, and another--the other was a secondary focus to my craft, but it cost more than twenty times of the first and above-mentioned. Both add considerable breadth to what my skills will allow me to do, as the weeks drift into months.
Other than, I am in a quiet mood, if Deicide and Demons & Wizards may be considered relaxing to listen to. |

Aye, that is a bit of an unfortunate undertaking--if you're a disinterested party, you're not always likely to roll the sounds of it off the tip of your tongue. I grew tired of fifteen years of writing out GQ-level characters, with perfect voices, and perfect speech. The last three years have been a wide range of dialects, including Praezius's odd mixture of a quarter dozen different ones.

I don't make seventeen jumps out of a home system for just anyone; the Dusettes have been a lifesaver to my emotions, in the last few weeks. I've got a few contracts I need to close out on, but I'm mass-skilling up on productions so I can hit supply chain management, and close them out without a hitch.
I mean, yeah; Liaf Cipe is cute as a button, and all, but he just ain't my cuppa tea. A wonderful bloke, but the Dusettes and the LeMews are a complete and utter godsend to the insanity running around in my daily existence.
Y'all are completely heavenly, above and beyond the RP sense. |

You can understand, a little, now, what each evening I get home from work is like, now. Lmao. Feed and water the cat, check'is box for kitty roca to drop into the closest trash can w/bag, empty my pockets of change and settle down at the computer for a few hours--my creativity has quadrupled in the last little while, and my stories, although Dusette-oriented in some cases--have regained their natural sensuality I'm usually known for. It's the character's dialect, chosen when I made the character, and perfected by years of dinking around with it for several years into the past, including past years in Eve, long ago. used to drive my former CEO bleedin' insane, trying to make heads or tails of it, until he was watching Boondock Saints, one night. When he was listening to a similarity of it being spoken, he'd rewind, listen again, then rewind again.
He must've watched the same scene of blowing the cat into a bloodstain on the wall a hundred times, but he had a heck of a lot less trouble, thereafter.
